Bios of our presenter:

Paull MurrayPaull Murray started his business career, while in school, working in the family drugstore sweeping floors, stocking shelves, making deliveries and waiting on customers.  This early experience established a keen awareness of customer value.

Summer jobs at golf courses, swimming pools and camps led to enrolling in the University of Guelph to study recreation.

Leaving school and recreation, Paull joined Canadian Pacific Airlines, and spent the next 23 years there.  The first half of his airline career was dedicated to managing airports, cargo and reservation operations in Canada and abroad.  The second half of his airline career was in sales, ultimately locating in Victoria, where he managed agency sales and customer retention programs for Vancouver Island and The Okanagan as well as special markets to the Orient for all North American Sales offices. The merger of CP and Pacific Western to form Canadian Airlines was an excellent opportunity to leave the airline business.

Paull’s experience in computer implementation, customer service management, marketing and sales in the airline set the stage for directing sales at Osler Systems, a Victoria based, medical software company serving the BC market.  After 3 years Osler dominated the BC market and other challenges were required.

A Thrifty Car Rental franchise was owned and operated for the next 5 years, then sold to the BC master franchisee.

Tee to Green International Marketing was the next business venture.  This start-up internet company was home for the next 3 years, building clients, directing advertising and developing customer retention strategies.

Currently as Managing Director of TTG International Management, Paull concentrates on helping companies turn ideas into profitable action.

Through out Paull’s career executive positions have been held with the following organizations UCT (United Commercial Travelers), HOST (Home Office Support Team), Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, SKAL and Junior Achievement.  Additionally he taught night course in Travel Industry Management as well as Supervision at S.A.I.T (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology).
